This April, you might see me out on the road a little more often than usual. I’ve officially joined the Canadian Cancer Society’s "Run 80 km in April" challenge. While I’m pushing my own physical limits, this isn’t just a personal fitness goal, it’s part of a nationwide movement to fund life-saving research and support those navigating a cancer diagnosis.
I chose to join this specific campaign because it demands the kind of persistence and endurance that reminds me of the strength I see in those facing the toughest battles of their lives.

Why This Cause is Close to Home
This journey is deeply personal for me. Like so many of you, cancer has left its mark on my own family. I’ve also had the privilege of working with incredible clients who have shown immense resilience through their own battles. Their courage is what stays with me, and it’s what fuels every kilometer I run.
If cancer has touched your life, please know that every step I take this month is dedicated to you and your loved ones. We are in this together. 🏃♀️💛
Where We Stand
The support so far has been fantastic. What started as a goal to raise $350 has turned into a beautiful display generosity.
- Distance Goal: 80 km
- Current Progress: 53 km (Only 27 km to go!)
- Time Remaining: 11 Days
- Current Raised: $898.63
- The Final Push to $1,000
Help Us Finish Strong
We are so close to hitting a major milestone. As I head out for these final kilometers, I’m making a "final push" to see if we can get our fundraising total over the $1,000 mark.
We only need about $102 more to reach that goal. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every dollar goes directly to the Canadian Cancer Society to help change the future of cancer care.

Get Involved: Your Turn to Move
If you feel inspired to get moving for this cause, it’s not too late! You can join the challenge yourself, start your own fundraiser, or simply share this post to spread the word. Every bit of awareness helps.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Let’s finish strong for the survivors, the fighters, and everyone we’ve lost.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Uli
